I am a PhD student at the Institut de Recherches Interdisciplinaires et de Développements en Intelligence Artificielle (IRIDIA) at the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles (Université Libre de Bruxelles - ULB). I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. During my studies, I focused on artificial intelligence, algorithms, and mathematics.
I am interested in various fields, including deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning, and big data. In addition to these technical interests, I am also deeply concerned with important global challenges such as climate change, energy, health, and well-being.
My PhD research focuses on electricity forecasting. Initially, we studied Voisins d'Énergie, a co-created research project that evaluates the flexibility of electricity demand at the level of energy communities. To measure consumption and production in each household, we deployed a comprehensive data collection system.
Subsequently, in collaboration with AIEG — a network operator — we explored electricity forecasting (both consumption and production) to address the challenge of ensuring that production does not exceed network losses. Finally, we will investigate the development of an intelligent distribution key for energy sharing.
